A2A — das Ökosystem gezählt, nicht kommentiert
A2A (Agent2Agent) ist das offene Protokoll, mit dem KI-Agenten verschiedener Teams einander finden und Aufgaben übergeben. Im April 2025 von Google angekündigt, liegt es heute bei der Linux Foundation. Auf die Frage, die alle stellen — wird es tatsächlich eingesetzt? — folgen meist Meinungen. Diese Seite antwortet ausschließlich mit Messungen: KoPass zählt A2A-Repositories täglich.

Wie diese Zahlen entstehen
KoPass fragt täglich die GitHub-API zu vier deklarierten Themen ab — a2a-protocol, agent2agent, a2a und agent-to-agent — und speichert die Ergebnisse. Der Filter greift auf die deklarierten Themen eines Repositories zu, nicht auf den Text: eine Suche nach „a2a“ in Beschreibungen würde alles einsammeln, was das Protokoll nebenbei erwähnt, auch um dessen Nichtnutzung festzustellen. Ein Repository ohne Messung seit dreißig Tagen fällt aus der Zählung.
Was diese Seite nicht sagt
Sie misst nur, was auf GitHub öffentlich ist. Private, unternehmensinterne oder anderswo veröffentlichte Implementierungen erscheinen nicht. Eine Sternzahl ist keine Nutzerzahl. Und keine dieser Zahlen ist eine Prognose: sie beschreiben bereits erfolgte Messungen.

Die Protokollspezifikation erscheint auf a2a-protocol.org, der Referenzcode unter github.com/a2aproject/A2A. KoPass ersetzt beides nicht, sondern zählt, was darum herum entsteht.
